Algae's Dev Process Daily
Day 1
References, planning and monster design.
Day 2
Refining the plan, clarifying the important details to set up the production plan.
Started modeling the first monster.
Day 3
There is a part list for what is needed to be textured and model.
The Monster is taking its shape and it is almost finished.
Day4
More polish of the model and adding curves and details of the body part.
Day 5
Exporting the model then putting it in maya for Topology.
Day 6
Finished up topology and UV’d the model. So the texturing will be done by today.
Day 7
The Monster 1 is done, pushed it in the project.
The same day which started the second monster, the model will be in the topology process.
Day 8
The Monster 2 is halfway done through texturing, which in this day was given a texture task. This task is the capsule asset.
Day 9
The monster 2 is done, the capsule is about done. Will move on to setting up the scene needed for the game.
Day 10
The Lighting and scene is on a prototype stage.
Day 11
The Little touch up for the lighting and the models are being placed in the scene.
Day 12
The assets are done so what's left is placed in the scene. Making it match the story decided by the team.
Day 13
The team received feedback that some assets are very distracting to the main game, So I started to create some sort of blur to the back so the player can focus on the capsule.
Day 14
Research way to have some sort of camera trick to focus on the capsule but ended with the tweak of some assets placements
Day 15
finished up the main menu screen background.
